Spirituality
A
Mystery to contemplate
... that
of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, earthly image of the
Trinity, embryo of the Church, opening out into the community of the
apostles and first christian communities.
A Spirit
to live
... the
Spirit of God Alone lived in the manner of "Jesus, Mary and
Joseph who, in their earthly life, loved, sought and desired nothing
but God alone. God was the object of all their thoughts, all their
desires and all their actions".
Apostolic
Aim
A Mission
in the Church
"To
spread and strengthen the faith in all milieus" (Statutes/Const.);
with the
Church, to announce to the whole human race the good news that
"it is called to become the family of God in Jesus" (Statutes/Const.)
"To
revive the witness of the first Christians who had but one heart and
one mind". (Statutes/Const.)
"To
bear witness to the Church as Family". (Statutes/Const.)
To be and
to create Family, so that by our relationships we may witness that
communion among all is possible in Jesus Christ.
To
present the alternative of a "New Society" founded on the
values lived at Nazareth.
Organisation
Structures
The Holy
Family, in the way it is organised today, is the concrete
expression of a spiritual inspiration. It is a Spiritual and
Apostolic Family that welcomes all vocations and responds to all
needs. In this Family, one and diverse, men and women, married and
single, children and adolescents, secular priests, consecrated women
in the religious and secular states, all live in solidarity and
complementarity without distinction of race, caste, culture, vocation
or service.
They are
united by the same Founder and the same spirit. They are directed
towards the same end, that is, the same mission in the Church. In
that way the Holy Family revives the experience of the early Church.
The
charism of Fr. Noailles stresses the necessity, the value and the
wealth of the complementarity of gifts in the Church.
