              Contemplative Sisters Sisters

Our contemplative life in the Church is deeply rooted in the soil of simplicity and the unobtrusiveness of the beginnings of the gospel. It calls for a living faith, constant fidelity, intrepid hope and continual conversion.

The vows of obedience, chastity and poverty are the crucible in which the Spirit moulds our personal and community life so that it may become an eternal offering to the glory of God.

The prayer of adoration and praise, thanksgiving and intercession punctuates our everyday life.

It is by praying and working that we remain turned towards the Father, fulfill the mission of building family and exercise our ministry of communion in the Church and in the world.

The Word and the Eucharist keep alive our desire for the coming of the day when the whole of humanity will recognise itself as the Family of God.

The atmosphere of silence in our monasteries gives to each one and to the community the space of solitude needed in order to discern in the Spirit what pleases the Father and, like the Holy Family, to be in perfect, loving harmony with God's will.

Each monastery is a house of God where we remain close to the source, proclaiming the primacy of God by our very lives and where we welcome all who want to spend time with the Lord in prayer.

For young people in search of authentic values, we would like our contemplative community life to be an invitation to come and share our spiritual experience, to become with us another Nazareth, and show that all are daughters and sons of God, sisters and brothers of one another.
