OUR RELIGIOUS APOSTOLIC LIFE

In union and in complementarity with all the other vocations of the Family of Pierre Bienvenu Noailles, we wish to realise God's dream to make of humanity one family and to witness by our life that communion is possible.

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph loved, sought and desired only God Alone here below; it was the object of all their thoughts, desires and actions; it was the spirit that animated them in all things." P.B. Noailles

Together, as communities of women disciples, we wish to continue the Mission of the One who went about doing good.

With Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we learn to live no longer for ourselves, but for God Alone in the service of the Kingdom.

Present in a diversity of countries and cultures, we seek to live the same love and family spirit which animated the first Christian communities that had "but one heart and one soul".

 

Nazareth: the extraordinary in ordinary everyday life, infinity in the mundane, eternity in time...

 

Our community life, after the example of the Holy Family, is built up by the acceptance of our gifts and our differences, by mutual love and humble service as at Nazareth.


Our style of life is simple.  Gentleness characterises our relationships. We share the joys and sorrows of those around us.

 

We commit ourselves to affirm the dignity of the human person by standing against all forms of discrimination among ourselves, in the society and the Church. (Corporate Commitment)

Attentive to the calls of the times, we wish to face the challenges of our changing world, and in collaboration with others, to respond to its needs with daring and courage.

Through the quality of our love and our choices, we express our co-responsibility regarding the preservation of the life of our whole planet.

Our passion for the Reign of God makes us prophets of God's love and compassion, not only for the world around us, but for the entire cosmos.

 

The life of Jesus, Mary and Joseph was a continual prayer of heart and deed. (P.B. Noailles)

 

Personal and community prayer gathers us together around Christ. It expresses and  supports our apostolic life. 

The Eucharist nourishes our faith, strengthens our love and commits us to the service of others. 

The Word of God helps us to read the events of everyday life in faith and to discern God's will for us.

Our Lady of All Graces lights up our path, as she did for Pierre Bienvenu Noailles.

 

Together with all the other members, we are responsible for the unity and the vitality of the Family of Pierre Bienvenu Noailles.
